A 47-YEAR-OLD MAN accused of stabbing pensioner Dennis Plater, 82, to death in his own home on Friday was remanded in custody at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court this morning.
David Hall, of no fixed address, who is understood to work as a gardener, is alleged to have stabbed widower Dennis Plater at his bungalow in Walkley Hill in Rodborough.
Police are still searching for the murder weapon.
Hall appeared before district judge Joti Bopa Rai this morning charged with the murder of Mr Plater between Wednesday, November 5 and Saturday, November 8.
He was remanded in custody pending an appearance at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday, December 11.
Hall spoke only to give his full name, David Michael Hall, and date of birth, 19/7/67 and replied 'no fixed address' when asked for his address.
