CUPCAKE mania has swept over Swell Primary School!
Children from the school are rallying round to raise money for Children In Need.
Year 6 pupils have made iced cakes, which have delicious toppings and raised £100 by selling them to residents at a village coffee morning.
Year 4 and 5 children have also been busy baking iced cupcakes, which they will sell to pupils and parents at the end of school today.
Today the children will also come dressed with a ‘heads or tails’ and each pupil will make a donation to Children in Need.
A dozen decorated cupcakes have also been sent to Radio Gloucester as part of their record breaking challenge tomorrow, which will see them hope to break the world record for the longest line of cupcakes, which currently stands at 14,500 cupcakes.
