M5 near Gloucester closed this morning due to diesel spill - road now open
A STRETCH of the M5 was closed near Gloucester earlier this morning due to a diesel spill.
The M5 north was closed from Junction 12 at the A38 Gloucester to the 11A at the A417.
Gloucestershire police attended the scene at 4.45am to close the road before the Highways Agency stepped in to clean up the oil and make the area safe for road users.
The road reopened at around 7.20am.
