Police have released CCTV images concerning an assault and attempted robbery at a store in Kingsway, Quedgeley, on the evening of Tuesday, November18.

The incident involved a male who entered the store, struck a member of staff with a metal implement and demanded money from the till. No money was taken.

The male then departed the scene on foot in the direction of the estate.

He is described as being white, about 5’ 2” tall, 18 to 19-years-old, with dark or brown untidy hair. He is believed to have been wearing a blue jumper, dark or navy blue sweatshirt with blue writing, grey joggers, dark or black trainers with no markings, and to have been carrying a black holdall.

Anyone with any information about the incident, or who recognises the male in the images, is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting Incident Number 464 of 18 November.
