THE baby daughter of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall is believed to have been christened at St Nicholas church in Cherington in the presence of her great-grandmother the Queen and Prince William.

The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince William and Princess Anne all turned out in Cherington on Sunday for the christening of Mia.

Zara and her ex-rugby player husband were the first to arrive at the church, along with Tindall's former England rugby player and friend Iain Balshaw.

There was no sign of Kate or Prince George, however.

The video on the ITV news website shows the royal couple being greeted at the gate of the church by a man who appears to be a vicar.

The clip gives the impression that there were a handful of onlookers taking in the spectacle of the royal party arriving at the church.

Phillips, an Olympic medal winner and the Queen's granddaughter, has previously said she does not have a nanny, describing herself as a ''full-time mother'' as well as a professional sportswoman.

She has enjoyed a triumphant return to competing after finishing in 11th place individually at the World Equestrian Games in France in August, while the Great Britain team took silver.

Husband, Mike Tindall, a former Gloucester Rugby star, has recently registered to play rugby for local side Minchinhampton RFC.
