A WEDDING ring was found on a night out in Cirencester, and a local woman is appealing for its owner to come and claim it back.
Jenny Phelps said she is hoping to reunite the lost ring with its owner, as it seems sentimental and perhaps worth a few hundred pounds.
The ring, thought to be a man's, was found on the floor by Jenny's husband at a charity event in Castle Street wine bar Seventeen Black on November 20.
It is described as a nine carat white (or light) gold, heavy ring belonging to a man. There is also a personalised inscription on the inside.
To claim the ring back the owner must be able to read out what the inscription says.
Jenny has contacted Seventeen Black and will be going to the police to report the ring as missing.
"My daughter lost her signet ring in Bristol once and was absolutely mortified," she said. "I would like to return this ring to its owner."
