A TOTAL of three youths were arrested last night in Cirencester, two of them being only 14 and 15 years old, after police heard reports someone had shot an air rifle out of a window.
Gloucestershire police received a call from a woman living in North Home Road last night at around 6.30pm with news that boys were shooting an air rifle out of a window on the street.
The pellets were being fired from an air rifle with enough power to hit the woman's front door.
Shots were still fired after police officers arrived at the scene. Two air weapons were retrieved and the boys, two of them aged 14 and 15, were arrested. Police could not confirm the age of the third boy but it is thought that he is a few years older.
All three young people were arrested for criminal damage and remain in custody.
