COTSWOLDS Ellie Harrison has revealed that after her first appearance on BBC Countryfile, she was told her blonde hair was 'too present'.
She was asked by producers of the show, aired on Sunday evening's, to be more countryside, 'less Hollywood' in her appearance.
Ellie Harrison, 37, grew up in the Cotswolds and has recently returned with her husband and two children.
She recently decorated a five foot model hare for Cirencester's popular March Hare Festival, which then sold for £3,600 at a charity auction.
However Ellie said she has encountered problems because of her blonde hair and good looks.
She said once before about her looks being a barrier to her career, with people presuming because she is attractive she will not be able to do her job properly.
