A MAN has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Gloucester earlier this week.

Police were called to the incident at a flat in Bristol Road at 11.20am on Thursday, December 11.

A 31-year-old man suffered serious injuries including a punctured lung. He continues to receive treatment in hospital and remains in a stable condition.

On Saturday a 41-year-old Gloucester man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the case.

He remains in police custody at this time as inquiries continue.
