STAFF and students at Marling School donned their favourite Christmas jumpers to raise money for charity Save the Children.
Although the official Christmas Jumper charity day took place on Friday, December 12, staff at Marling decided to host their own day three days later on Tuesday to tie in with the school’s non-uniform day.
Everyone who took part was then asked to contribute £1.
Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day saw its third year this year and, thanks to fantastic supporters popping on their pullovers up and down the nation, the charity is on track for a record-breaking year.
Also this year, the British Government is doubling any money raised from the event – matching every pound that was donated. Donate at savethechildren.org.uk.
