MOBILE speed cameras will be at the following locations across the county this month:

  • A4013 Princess Elizabeth Way
  • Evesham Road
  • Siddington
  • A38 Berkely Bridge
  • B4008 Olympus Park, Bristol Road

Gloucestershire’s Road Safety Partnership posts the locations of mobile speed detection vans in the county onto their website each month. 

The updated list is complemented with statistics from the previous month showing how many people have been flouting the law and how many people have been fined.

The December campaign focussed on some identified speeding locations in the Gloucester area and the A46. 

Each site visit lasts approximately one hour and the results were as follows:

Secunda Way, Gloucester (towards Llanthony Road) - 15 in two visits         
Secunda Way, Gloucester (towards Cole Avenue) - 148 in eight visits
Waterwells Drive, Quedgeley - 121 in six visits
Estcourt Road, Gloucester - 143 in eight visits
B4060 Katherine Lady Berkeley's School - 75 in five visits
A46 Bath Road, Stroud - 52 in five visits

Priority sites for January are based on KSI figures relating to accidents resulting in death or serious injury.
