TESCO has announced it will be closing 43 of its stores, due to them not making enough money.
The company has also reported that it is looking to make cuts of £250m by reorganising its management structures and cutting some overheads, according to the BBC.
Tesco has three stores in Cirencester, Tesco Extra at Kingsmeadow, Tesco Metro in the town centre, and Tesco Express in Chesterton.
There is also a Tesco in Tetbury, one in Moreton-in-Marsh, and one in Stow-on-the-Wold, as well as elsewhere in the Cotswolds and North Wiltshire.
It is not yet known whether any of these stores will be closed down.
It has also been confirmed that two of Tesco's businesses - Tesco Broadband and online entertainment service Blinkbox, will be sold to TalkTalk.
More information to come.
