Broken down lorry at Air Balloon roundabout causes long delays on A417
A BROKEN down lorry on the A417 yesterday evening caused long delays for anyone trying to get home.
A HGV broke down on the way up the hill on the A417 from Gloucester, heading towards the Air Balloon roundabout.
Police attended to block off an area of the road, and the usual two-lane carriageway was turned into one-lane for a portion of the road.
Traffic soon came to a halt in both directions, causing delays.
