A WARNING has been issued by the Met Office for showers of hail, sleet and snow between Tuesday night and Thursday.
Strong wind and ice are also expected meaning that drivers should take care if they are out on the roads this week.
Snow is not guaranteed but where it does fall it is predicted to settle and produce a covering quite quickly.
The warning from the Met Office may be reviewed as the week goes on but disruption to travel may occur if rain or snow falls heavily.
