A YELLOW warning of snow and ice has been put in place across Stroud for the next week.

As well as wind and rain, Stroud is predicted to get snow tonight, Tuesday to midnight on Wednesday, with temperatures dropping to 2 degrees Celsius.

Today Stroudies can expect cold weather with sunny spells and showers, becoming increasingly wintry.

The showers will become wintry and more frequent through the day and, by evening, the snow will fall to increasingly low levels.

Tonight the Met Office has predicted hail, sleet and snow showers, with the risk of lightning, pushing in from the west with icy stretches.
