TWO Cirencester women are adamant they spotted a big black cat in Cirencester on Monday.
Jo Williams was driving around the hospital roundabout just after 9.35am with her friend, Cynthia Hart in the passenger seat, when they a spotted a cat-like creature walking through land to the left of the hospital in front of the Roman amphitheatre.
She said: “I originally thought it must be a dog but there was no-one walking with it, and its shape was far too feline to have been a dog. And its movements were also feline rather than do. I would approximate its size as much larger than a cat, but about the same size as a medium sized dog. I’m afraid I’ve always been a little sceptical about these sightings but after this I’m pretty sure!”
