Cyclist found on road with head injuries dies
A CYCLIST found with head injuries in Cheltenham yesterday died today.
The 52-year-old Cheltenham woman was cycling from the tennis club on Old Bath Road in the direction of Leckhampton Hill at about 11.30am yesterday.
She was found on the pavement a short time later with head injuries and taken to Cheltenham General Hospital.
After being discharged, an ambulance service was called to the woman's home this morning and she later died.
Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to the woman while she was cycling to call 101 and quote incident 111 of January 13.
