POLICE raided a house in Bourton-on-the-Water this morning and arrested a man on suspicion of drugs offences.
A total of 14 officers and two police dogs swooped on the property at around 9am and seized substances suspected to be drugs.
A 32-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and is currrently in custody in Gloucestershire.
Sergeant Rich Payne explained that after seeing strangers frequently coming and going from the house, residents raised concerns with a PCSO which led to the raid.
Sgt Payne said: “It’s an absolute win-win. We got the information from concerned local people – this is the result of them working with us.
“It’s the community that takes the credit, not us.”
Officers knocked on the door before going inside the house without having to force entry, and then carried out their search.
There were two dog handlers, two PCSOs, two sergeants and eight PCs.
