POLICE in Gloucestershire are re-issuing an appeal for witnesses following a fatal crash on the Golden Valley Bypass near Junction 11 of the M5.

The incident happened just after 10pm on January 12 2015.

The incident involved a cyclist, a lorry and several cars travelling towards Gloucester.

The cyclist, a 43 year old man from Gloucester, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.

Officers investigating the collision would like to speak to anyone who saw a cyclist on the A40 Golden valley bypass between 9.30pm and 10.00 pm on Monday, January 12.

The cyclist was travelling from the Cheltenham direction towards Gloucester and riding a white coloured mountain bike.

Police would like to hear from anyone, whose details have not already been taken, who witnessed the collision or who has any further information.
