THE Nationwide Building Society branch in Cirencester is moving home.


Nationwide announced today that its Cirencester branch will move from 26 Dyer Street,  to a more central location of 16-18 Cricklade Street.


The move is one of a series of branch relocations and improvements which are part of Nationwide’s £300m investment in its branch network.


Currently the branch closes at 12pm on Saturdays but the new site will have extended opening hours until 3pm.

Graeme Hughes, Nationwide’s group director of distribution, said: “Nationwide is constantly looking to improve the experience customers have when they deal with us. Our decision to invest in this move to a more central location within Cirencester demonstrates our commitment to provide our customers with access to the latest products and services in modern, spacious surroundings. Although this is a new branch, customers will see the familiar branch team who will continue to offer the high level of customer service on which Nationwide prides itself.”

The current branch at 26 Dyer Street will close at 12 noon on Thursday, February 5 and the new branch will open on Monday, February 9 at 10am.
