DO YOU know a business or person working in Cirencester who always goes above and beyond to make sure you feel valued as a customer?

Now is your chance to vote for them to win a highly-sought after award for 2015.

To coincide with this year's CIrencester Business Awards, the Standard is searching for a business in the town which provides top-quality customer service.

The business awards for 2015, launched last week by the town's Chamber of Commerce, celebrates local firms and entrepreneurs.

This is the fifth year in a row that the Standard has sponsored the Customer Service Award, an accolade which is controlled solely by the public, and is greatly sought-after by firms in the town.

Nominations can be made for any business or business person, whether it be a restaurant, plumber or solicitor, as long as they are based within the GL7 postcode.

Last year saw local Bishops Walk butchers Michael Hart and Son take the crown, with Planet Games coming up in second place.

Manager at Michael Hart Christian Alba said winning the award was immensely beneficial to the business.

"A lot of people saw it in the Standard and we got a lot more custom," he said. "As a company it's nice to think the customers think of you in that way. It's nice to have appreciation."

This year the awards will be held in May at the King's Head Hotel in Cirencester.

To nominate any Cirencester business to win the award, email mar@wiltsglosstandard.co.uk with the name of the business or person you are nominating and the reason why.

Alternatively, fill out the coupon in this week's Standard and send it to Megan Archer, Wilts and Glos Standard, 74 Dyer Street, Cirencester, GL7 2PW. All entries must be received before the end of March.
