2. The death of Gloucester teenager, Zac Evans has shocked the county after he was murdered on Friday, January 23 with a machete. Police are continuing to question a 44-year-old man on suspicion of murder after the attack outside a Gloucester pub. He is not believed to have known his attacker.
3. Almost 50,000 drivers made claims against councils across Britain for damage caused to their vehicles by potholes in the last financial year, a Freedom of Information request from the RAC Foundation revealed.
4. Health leaders have announced a £10 million investment as part of a plan to recruit and retain more doctors. The NHS England funding will be used to develop initiatives to boost GP numbers.
5. And finally for all you football fans, Forest Green boss Ady Pennock confirmed the marquee signing of Scottish Premier League striker James Marwood last week. Marwood,24, has agreed an 18-month contract at Rovers after having his contract cancelled by St Mirren.
