COTSWOLD Care Hospice has 100 good reasons for people to transform their New Year’s resolutions into a reality.

The charity is looking for 100 people to raise £100 by turning their new year resolutions into a fundraising challenge.

“It could be losing weight, cutting out the alcohol, getting fit or spending more time with your friends. This challenge is all about banishing those winter blues and doing something exciting,” said Jan Ryder, community fundraiser at Cotswold Care.

By raising £100, people will make a lasting impact on the life of a person being cared for by the hospice.

“With £100, you could pay for eight counselling sessions, three art for therapy sessions or a half-day visit at our specialist day hospice,” said Jan.

Every year Cotswold Care Hospice, based in Minchinhampton, supports more than 600 people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

For a registration form please email fundraising@cotswoldcare.org.uk or ring the fundraising team on 01453 886868.

uOrganisers of the Minchinhampton 10K on Sunday, March 15 have donated 50 free charity places to runners who want to support the hospice. Minimum sponsorship is £60.

It takes place on quiet country lanes in and around Minchinhampton.
