POLICE in Gloucestershire will be supporting Safer Internet Day this Tuesday to raise awareness of how young people can stay safe when they use the internet and social media.
A series of tweets will be sent throughout the day from the new @glossafercyber Twitter account, which will also be retweeted via Gloucestershire Constabulary’s corporate Twitter account, so the thousands of followers can help spread these important messages to family and friends.
Colleagues from the Gloucester City Police community engagement team will be supporting local schools with internet safety presentations.
The team will also be in the city centre with the "Hello Gloucester" van providing 'safer internet' information.
