POLICE are appealing for witnesses after reports that a 13-year-old boy was stopped by a driver who asked him to get inside his car.
Officers have issued the appeal following the incident in Overhill Road in Stratton, Cirencester at 5pm on January 16.
A silver estate car with two occupants stopped alongside the boy and a man aged around 30 gestured with his hand and head for the boy to get into the car, but he refused and walked away.
The man had a bald or shaved head but no further description is available as it was dark at the time.
Police would like to hear from anybody who saw this incident or recognises this car description. Please call 101 quoting Incident Number 307 of January 16.
