THE Five Valleys can expect skies to clear tonight with a frost and patchy ice developing, so make sure to leave extra time in the morning to defrost your cars.

After a scattering of showers throughout the day, any remaining showers will soon clear to leave a dry night.

Cloud will then clear to leave cloud free skies and light winds will allow temperatures to fall quickly, which will lead to a frost and patchy ice with a minimum temperature of minus two degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow, Tuesday Stroudies will see a cold, bright start with plenty of sunshine through the morning as cloud will increase during the afternoon as the weather remains dry and temperatures rise.
