ENTREPRENEUR and self-made millionaire, Stephen Fear will be visiting Stroud’s Ark House tonight to cook a roast dinner for homeless young people.

Otherwise known as the phone box millionaire, Stephen’s first big deal was negotiated in a red telephone box on the council estate in Bristol where he grew up.

Stephen, who is also a patron of Emmaus, international charity for the homeless, said: “Homelessness isn't a lifestyle choice, it can happen to anyone.

“I am really looking forward to spending some time with the youngsters at Ark House and I hope that my experience might inspire them to see that they can create a positive future for themselves: it’s not where you’ve come from that matters but where you’re going.”

Dropping out of school at 15 to start an oven cleaning business, Stephen educated himself through his love of reading.

He went on to sell what became a successful commercial cleaning company and move into a variety of ventures including property investment and development.

Today he runs a multi-faceted business empire with his son and business partner, Leon.
