STROUD’S rich history and culture will be brought to life at the town’s third annual tourism day next month.
Stroud Tourism Day will take over on Saturday, March 14 from 10am until 4pm and local attractions including Rococo Gardens, The Edward Jenner Museum, and Woodchester Mansion will be open to entertain visitors.
Giffords Circus will also be in town and there will be information on walks in the area, cycling and many other activities, all being provided by the Stroud Tourist Information Centre.
Two historical guided walks around the town have been organised, entitled Origins of Stroud and Building up Stroud.
Tickets for the walks are £4 and early bookings are advised. To book your ticket go to the tourist centre based in Stroud’s Subscription Rooms.
Free face painting, live entertainment, a raffle and interactive demonstrations are sure to make the tourism day a fun time for all the family.
