ENGLISH alternative rock band Deaf Havana will be headlining the award-winning 2000trees Festival in the Cotswolds this July.

2000trees will be at Upcote Farm in the Cotswolds and organisers have already announced a huge variety of acts.

Bands and artists playing during the weekend include The Xcerts, We Were Promised Jetpacks, The Twilight Sad and Turbowolf.

Headliners Deaf Havana will also be joined by Nai Harvest, Fatherson, Only Rivals, When We Were Wolves and Dead Harts, plus many others.

“The reaction to the line-up has been fantastic, especially our latest headliner Deaf Havana, mustering loads of support online and receiving plenty of media attention, which means a lot to a small festival like us,” said organiser James Scarlett.

“It’s an exciting, energy laden line-up that we’re sure our festival fans will love and is sure to blow away the musical cobwebs come July, so we’re really looking forward to announcing more acts as soon as we can in coming weeks.”

The 2000trees festival was described as “the best festival in the UK” by Soundboard, a “magnificent weekend” by Rock Sound magazine and “one of the best small festivals in the UK” by The Guardian.

The three-day event will celebrate its ninth year in the Cotswolds, near to Cheltenham, when it returns on July 9-11 this year.

It features the very best new and underground music on six stages, plus comedy, DJs, a silent disco, quality food and drink and children’s entertainment.
