Cirencester resident begins reporting scam phone calls to Action Fraud
A SCAM warning issued by the police has prompted one Cirencester resident to take further action.
A resident of the Beeches, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that she has been targeted by scammers repeatedly and has begun reporting all of the suspicious calls to Action Fraud, the UK’s fraud and cyber crime reporting centre.
The calls she has been receiving come from Indian sounding men claiming to be from computer companies.
If you are called by one of these suspected scammers you can report the number to Action Fraud on 0300 1232040.
