LEAFLETS from Cotswold District Council and the National Energy Foundation (NEF) will be distributed around Cirencester next week as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the funding on offer for solid wall insulation.
The following streets are being targeted because they contain houses which should be eligible for installations: Ashcroft Gardens, Ashcroft Road, Chester Street, Purley Avenue, Purley Road, The Mead, Victoria Road and Watermoor Road.
After the leaflet drop, representatives of Lakehouse surveyors will canvass door-to-door about two weeks later.
Residents who are interested will be asked to contact NEF so that they can arrange a Green Deal Assessment.
The first 10 Green Deal Assessments will be free and the next 10 assessments will cost £50 + VAT. After claiming free and discounted assessments, residents will have to pay the full price for the Green Deal Assessment which is £141.60.
If anyone would like to take up the offer, NEF and Lakehouse will then arrange for the installation work.
