Stonehouse WI was joined by Lyndsey Braune of Cotswold Auctions on Wednesday, February 18 at 7.30pm in the community centre for Antiques Roadshow. The bring and buy table was White Elephant. We always welcome visitors to our meetings so come along and find out about your local WI.

Savvy Seniors meet at 11am every Monday at the Vue Cinema in Stroud to see the latest films. Stanley Singers has been established now for more than 30 years and is looking for more second sopranos. We rehearse on Monday evenings in the Stonehouse Baptist Church from 7.45pm to 9.15pm. Music is varied – from pop to classical and we don’t hold auditions, although some ability to read music would be desirable. Hats for seamen. Thank you to all who knit hats and balaclavas they are always very well received and another 30 are on there way to keep heads warm. If you would like to knit a hat, patterns and wool are available in the town hall.

Stonehouse Library Baby Bounce and Rhyme and Bookstart Bear sessions are back from 10.30am until 11am every Wednesday during school term time.
