A HOST of schools are taking part in a BMX riding event next week.
Rush Skatepark in Brimscombe will hold the first heat of the event on Wednesday, February 25, at 4.30pm for BMX riders.
There will be four heats running every following Wednesday with the grand final on Monday, May 11.
Eight schools are in the running including; Thomas Keble, Marling, Maidenhill, Katherine Lady Berkeley’s, Cirencester Deer Park, Chipping Camden, Wyedean and Winterbourne Academy.
Schools are also being encouraged to get involved in next year’s event.
The competition is being supported by Superdry, Grit Scooters, Blank BMX, Valo, Roce and Rocket Skateboards.
