A 24-YEAR-OLD woman hit a parked car turning her own vehicle onto its roof this morning in Forest Green, Nailsworth.

The female suffered minor injuries and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

She is not thought to have any serious life threatening or life changing injuries.

The collision happened just before 7:30 when police were called to Nympsfield Road near the Star Hill junction.

Police say that because the car is on its roof it will take some time to recover.

Nailsworth Primary School have texted parents of school children to ask them to walk to school because the road was blocked.
