A SUSPECT has pleaded not guilty to the killing of an 82-year-old-man who was stabbed to death in his home in Stroud.
David Hall, 47, of no fixed address, is accused of killing Dennis Plater in his home in Walkley Hill, Stroud, on Friday, November 7, last year.
Hall is is accused of killing Mr Plater between 5 and 7 November and will remain in police custody. He pleaded not guilty at Bristol Crown Court.
A trial date is to be set next week.
