Clive Sherwood Cup launched for Cirencester's young sports leaders and coaches
AN AWARD in memory of a former Cirencester Town Council staff member has been launched for young people.
The Clive Sherwood Cup was established this year following Mr Sherwood’s death in 2013.
Nominations for the first year are now being sought from sports clubs based in Cirencester and are open to anyone aged between 11 – 18 years old at the time of nomination.
Nominees must have either progressed in a sport, shown leadership or coaching potential or contributed towards the clubs achievements in some way.
The closing date for nominations is 30th April 2015.
