THE wife of missing Luther Nicholas has appealed for him to come home.

April Nicholas last saw her husband when he left the family home in Bramble Drive, Cam at about 5.30pm on Wednesday, March 3.

Mrs Nicholas said: "Everybody's really worried about him and wants him to be safe.

"I want him to know I'm not angry - he can come forward and we'll talk. I don't want him to worry he's in trouble.

"Everybody's looking for him and we're getting so many messages of support.

"Luther's really skinny at the moment. He's shaved his beard off and we think he's probably wearing his grey No Fear beanie hat. He had a black wet look hooded jacket on and blue combat trousers with side pockets.

"His sunglasses are unusual. They're rectangular and have a thick bridge over the nose. The glass is black."

Police say Luther is white, about 5ft 10ins tall and perhaps carrying a black and red rucksack.

Tens of officers, including dog handlers, were out in the Dursley area yesterday searching for Luther, accompanied by the force helicopter.

Searches will continue today but police are urging Luther, or anyone who knows where he is, to call straight away on 101 or 999 if appropriate, quoting incident 383 of 3 March.
