POLICE are urging motorists to keep a sharp eye out for toads following the theft of the toad crossing warning signs in Saul, Gloucester.
Toads cross the road at this location every year to breed, and the signs serve to warn motorists of their presence.
Police were informed on March 7 that the two signs on Church Lane had been stolen.
Anyone with any information about these incidents is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 137 of 7 March and crime number 5101/15.
