A Hayter lawn mower and a JCB pressure washer were stolen in the Chesterton area
POLICE are asking Chesterton residents to check their property after a thief was caught in the area with expensive goods.
The 23-year-old male was caught in 4-acre field at 10.30pm last night in possession of a Hayter lawn mower and a JCB pressure washer.
Police think the goods were stolen that night, possibly from an outbuilding.
The man is being detained in a custody suite in Quedgley.
Residents should check their property and inform neighbours of the situation.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101, citing incident number 383 on 15/3/2015.
