A POLICE officer from Gloucestershire has pleaded guilty to five counts of misconduct in public office.
Darren Stephen Heath, 44, from Taynton near Newent, also pleaded not guilty to two charges of rape and two more of misconduct in public office.
These offences will not be pursued but will “lay on file” where they can be accessed at a later date.
One of the charges Mr Heath pleaded guilty to at Bristol Crown Court was for “exposing his penis to a woman he met while on duty”.
Three of the counts relate to him engaging in a sexual relationship with a woman he met on duty.
The final charge Mr Heath pleaded guilty to was continually attending the home address of a woman under the guise of resolving a complaint of harassment against her ex partner whilst failing to properly investigate that claim of harassment.”
