A POPULAR annual murder mystery play raised almost £2,000 for Nkokoto – the Tanzanian village twinned with Minchinhampton.
Written by Gerry Robbins, the play was performed by eight actors with an interval to give the audience time to solve the mystery. This year’s event had an added twist in that no body was found.
Money raised meant the Nkokoto Link charity could buy 300 solar powered D-lights and 300 family sized mosquito nets for some of the poorest families in the village.
The group also made a contribution to the provision of lunches at a school there.
