AN EVENTS company is turning a Cotswold business village into a stunning Aladdin's cave on Thursday next week, as part of its first public open day.

Oasis Events will be opening the cave today (Thursday) at 13 Cotswold Business Village in Moreton-in-Marsh.

The award-winning company has in the past turned Cheltenham racecourse into a huge ski chalet and a historic university dining hall into a Hollywood-style film set.

The firm has been running since 2008. Oasis Events director Dany Fremantle said staff members were looking forward to showing potential clients around.

"This isn’t going to be so much an open day as welcoming visitors onto a film set,” said Dany. "Visitors will enter via a four metre tall Moroccan arch, can be photographed beside our giant playing cards and feel like Alice in Wonderland, lounge in a bohemian Bedouin tent, and sip wine served from the window of a classic 1973 VW camper van."

There will also be a themed cake and tricks by Arc Magic.

Oasis Events will also be raising money for its charity of the year The Great Western Air Ambulance.
