A BATON travelling through every county in the country to celebrate the centenary of the Women’s Institute (WI) has come through the Cotswolds.
The baton has already travelled 270 miles through Gloucester, Cheltenham, North Gloucestershire, Lydney and Stroud.
Today it is travelling from through Avening, Tetbury, Oaksey, Siddington, Cirencester, Stratton, Shipton Oliffe, Chedworth and Bibury.
It is travelling from WI to WI in a variety of ways including in a Ferrari, Classic Car and motorcycle, dog sled, Cadillac and horse.
Tomorrow the baton will pass through the Fairford sector before it is passed to Wiltshire.
The relay started January 1, 2014, and will finish in the Royal Albert Hall on June 4, 2015.
