A SEVERE car fire that left a burnt out wreck and caused long delays on the A417 yesterday did not harm anyone.
At 8.30am the emergency services were scrambled to a car fire on the A417 between the Air Balloon roundabout and Nettleton Bottom.
The vehicle, a Peugeot 407, was severely damaged in the fire and the crew from Cheltenham East fire station needed breathing apparatus and two hose reel to extinguish the fire.
The incident left long delays but no one was hurt.
