CHILDREN and teachers from North Cerney Primary School enjoyed blue skies and warm weather for its first spring fair on the weekend.

Visitors enjoyed games, stalls and refreshments throughout the morning, including a tombola sweet stall, a toy stall, a raffle, glitter tattoos, tea and cake, and plenty of games.

Headteacher Jane Burr along with other members of staff got involved with the fair, which saw money being raised towards the school.

It was also a chance for parents and visitors to see how the school's Big Project was getting on. Set up in 2013 to build the school a new assembly space, the project has so far raised more than £150,000.

The hall is now complete and the official opening ceremony will be held soon.
