A COTSWOLD District Council meeting to discuss the revocation of a Cirencester pub’s licence has been postponed.
The licensing committee was to discuss whether to modify, suspend or remove the licence of the Oddfellows Arms, Chester Street, Cirencester.
The licence is up for review after local resident Michael Donohoe complained that noise from the pub was “at an unacceptable level”.
He said that he has lived at the house since 2004 and had not minded when the pub was lively but that now “every weekend is now too hard to bear”.
The council had planned to meet on Tuesday, March 24, but were forced to postpone until Tuesday, April 14, due to a close relative's illness.
