A BURGLAR stole thousands of pounds worth of goods from a Cotswold home before smashing through metal gates to get away.
Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a house on the A44, Bourton-On-The-Hill.
On March 9 at 5pm a householder returned home to find an unknown car in the driveway.
After entering his home, he discovered the patio doors had been forced open. He went upstairs and found a man in one of the bedrooms.
The burglar ran away out of the property and drove off in the car he'd parked in the driveway smashing through a locked metal gate.
The offender got away with items worth thousands of pounds including a Sony Playstation 4 and controller, a fake Breitling watch, a Tag Heuer watch, two Diesel watches, diamond jewellery and a Sony DSLR camera.
The burglar is believed to be in his twenties with black hair and black stubble on his chin. The car he escaped in is a black Ford Mondeo.
The police are appealing for anyone with further information or who saw this car to get in touch. Call 101 quoting incident number 392 of March 9.
