cream of the crop: St Andrews University got itself in a lather yesterday as hundreds of first-year students celebrated Raisin Monday with the traditional foam fight. The climax to Raisin weekend in St Salvator's
Quadrangle passed without incident following warnings about bad behaviour from student leaders and the university executive.
There was no appearance by the university's most famous undergraduate, Prince William, for the messy fun, but that did not stop fellow students enjoying the historic event.
