SCOTTISH title holders Colin Keith and Emma Donaldson both enjoyed the

easiest of victories in yesterday's first round of the European Champion

of Champions squash tournament in Andorra.

Glasgow's Keith, the winner two years ago, needed just 16 minutes to

beat Christian Millard, of Monaco, and secure his place in the

quarter-finals.

The 24-year-old No.5 seed won 9-2, 9-1, 9-1 to set up a revenge tie

against Freddy Johnsson. The Swede beat Keith in the semi-finals a year

ago before going on to take the title.

Keith's passage has been helped by the withdrawal of England's Bryan

Beeson, which has left the Scot as the only British player in the men's

event. In the women's event Donaldson had an even swifter passage to the

last eight.

The British under-19 champion whitewashed Slovenia's Anamarija Slabe

9-0, 9-0, 9-0.
