NEARLY 100 speeding drivers were caught by mobile speed cameras in the Cotswolds during March.
Gloucestershire police have worked out how many people were speeding in the area, after mobile cameras were placed in various locations.
Siddington: 20 caught speeding over five visits. Figures from previous visits do not show a marked rise or fall.
A436 near B4068: 16 in five visits. Very low figures and in keeping with last year.
A429 Fossebridge: 31 in five visits. Figures from previous visits do not show a marked rise or fall.
A429 near Bourton on the Water: 36 in five visits. Figures from previous visits do not show a marked rise or fall.
Priority sites for April do not include any area of the Cotswolds:
A4013: Princess Elizabeth Way Cheltenham
A4019: Uckington
A38: Estcourt Rd Gloucester.
A430: Secunda Way Gloucester
A46: Bath Road.
The sites chosen reflect on-going speeding issues at these sites as evidenced throughout the last year.
